The Washington County Life Saving Crew provides Emergency Medical Services in Washington County, Virginia.  We rely heavily on financial contributions from our community. These contributions help us to respond to over 3,000 emergencies each year. Rabbit Makes Victory Lap at BMS

WCLSC Gearing up for State Competition

Fatal Accident on Route 19

At 5:45 this morning, WCLSC was alerted to a head-on collision on route 19, about a mile north of Rich Valley Road.

Virginia State Police said a 1999 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling the wrong way: south in the northbound lanes. It then struck a northbound 2000 Pontiac Grand Am, head-on.

WCLSC wins Battle of the Badges Blood Drive

On Friday, Battle of the Badges Blood Drive took place at the Abingdon Police Department. WCLSC, Abingdon Police Dept., Abingdon Fire Dept. and the Washington Co. Sheriffs Dept., competed to give the most blood. At the end of the day, WCLSC came out on top, with it's members and families giving the most. Probationary member Luke Beasey was point on getting WCLSC involved to help support the Boy Scouts. ... (Full Story & Photos)
