Flooding Causes Major Traffic Hazards in Wash Co. VA MAY 19 - Sunday brought heavy storms that caused flooding throughout the area, which then caused heavy traffic hazards. MVA Rollover Assist with WCFR MAY 19 - This afternoon, Ambulance 56 responded with WCFR Vehicle Rescue Unit 106 to an MVA rollover with injuries, on Lee Highway near exit 10 off I-81. Wellmont One Medical EVAC, responded to fly one patient and WCLSC Amb 59 was called to transport a second patient. Great teamwork and quick response from all agencies! WCLSC Congratulates 5 Members on Completing their Vehicle Rescue Technician Certification MAY 07 - Last night, 5 members of WCLSC were presented with their certificates as vehicle rescue technicians. Recently, these members completed the course, where they learned how to extricate people from vehicles where they may become trapped in an MVA.
