MVA in Town APRIL 13 - At approximately 2249 hours, tones dropped for a 2 vehicle MVA at the intersections of Tanner and Main streets; just in front of Rain Restaurant. Motorcycle Accident APRIL 06 - At approximately 1842 hrs WCLSC was dispatched, along with Green Springs Fire Dept, to the area of 21242 Green Springs Road for a single vehicle MVA. Upon arrival, crews found one patient who was subsequently transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Structure Fire on Lee Highway APRIL 05 - WCLSC was dispatched at approximately 2059 hrs, with the Abingdon Fire Dept to a possible structure fire. When crews arrived on scene, there was heavy smoke and fire showing out of A & B side of the roof. House fire on Drake Rd MARCH 29 - At approximately 1004hrs on 3/29/2012 Washington County Life Saving Crew was dispatched with Green Springs Fire Department to a residence on Drake Road. Heavy smoke was present upon arrival however the fire was contained to the crawl space area. The home sustained slight smoke damage. Afternoon MVA on I-81 MARCH 23 - At 1213 hrs, tones dropped for an MVA on I-81. A car was traveling southbound and was run off the road by a tractor trailer. The vehicle then hit the guardrail and was bounced back across the road an up onto the embankment. One person was transported to the hospital to be checked for injuries.
