The Washington County Life Saving Crew provides Emergency Medical Services in Washington County, Virginia.  We rely heavily on financial contributions from our community. These contributions help us to respond to over 3,000 emergencies each year. At Approximately 4:01 AM on 6/21/17 WCLSC, Abingdon Fire Dept., and Brumley Gap Volunteer Fire Dept. were dispatched to a residence on Brinkley Road in Abingdon, VA for a reported structure fire. Upon arrival, crews found the structure was fully involved with heavy flames that had spread to a nearby vehicle. Truck vs. Tree

At approximately 0630, WCLSC was dispatched to the 17000 block of Cleveland Road for an MVA with unknown injuries. Upon arrival crews found a truck towing a boat, head on into a tree. Fortunately everyone was out of the vehicle, and no one suffered any major injury. The cause is still under investigation at this time.
