Chimney Fire

Member Marty Duncan, December 10

Tones dropped at 2200 for a chimney fire on the 200 block of Bogey Drive. Abingdon FD chiefs responded, along with an engine, the tanker, the tower, andthe utility. WCLSC Holds Christmas Family Night

Last evening, members of WCLSC got together for numerous activities to celebrate the Christmas season. Beginning in the afternoon, members and their children decorated cookies while others enjoyed various soups and snacks. Structure Fire

Captain Mike Mason, November 15

At 3:00 p.m. , the alerts were set to assist the fire department on a structure fire. Upon arrival, the single family mobile home was found fully involved. One injury was reported. A man had lacerated his arm while escaping the fire through a window. Unit 58 treated and transported the injured to the local hospital and then returned to aid the fire department with rehab. 2 Vehicle MVA

Admin, November 12

At 0911, WCLSC was alerted to a 2 car MVA with unknown injury. Ambulance 54 and Rescue 50 responded. Upon arrival, crews found one patient in the vehicle that was t-boned and 2 patients in the other. Ambulance 58 then responded to assist. Two of the 3 patients was transported to a local hospital for evaluation. Fortunately, the cars were off the road and traffic was only disrupted momentarily.
